SNECI holds a conference in Iran with IAPMA

On October 22, SNECI held a conference in Tehran with IAPMA (Iran Automotive Suppliers Association) to present the expectations of PSA and Renault to IAPMA members to ensure their success.

Over 150 suppliers participated in the event together with representatives of the Ministry of Industry, IDRO (Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran), and OEMs such as IKCO, IKAP, and Renault Pars.

After an opening speech from IAPMA, the conference kicked off with presentations from Mr. Arnaud Pérard, Purchasing Director of IKAP (Iran Khodro Automobiles Peugeot), and Mr. Erik Legrand, Purchasing Director of Renault Pars. SNECI then presented what is expected to be successful with PSA and Renault, thanks to its extensive experience working with them.

The afternoon was dedicated to B2B meetings, which allowed suppliers to share their experiences and requests with IKAP, Renault Pars, and SNECI. SNECI provided tailored advice to suppliers and has already had follow-up meetings with several of them since the conference.

This conference was a great springboard for the successful implementation of SNECI in Iran, its second establishment in the MEA region following the creation of its office in Casablanca, Morocco in April 2016.
