SNECI joined the FIEV delegation in Iran

SNECI took part in the FIEV mission to IRAN on September 10th and 11th 2016, together with 40 French Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers interested in the growth opportunities offered by the Iranian automotive industry since the implementation of the Vienna agreement in January 2016.

SNECI was able to meet the teams from Renault PARS, as well as those from IKAP, the recently created joint venture between PSA and Iran-Khodro.

These meetings were the opportunity for SNECI to present its supplier development offer, similar to agreements already in force between SNECI and respectively Renault, and PSA Group in other regions of the world. Considering the ambitious targets for the local integration rate, from 40% at the beginning of projects to 80% eventually, this service generated significant interest from the OEMs.

This visit to Iran was also the opportunity to participate in meetings with the Iranian Association of Parts Manufacturers (IAPMA) and the teams of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Mines.
