SNECI builds a partnership with AMDI for promoting automobile industry in Morocco in China and Korea

SNECI MEA announces a signature of an agreement with AMDI – Moroccan Development Investment Agency – in order to assist for the promotion of Moroccan automobile industry in China and Korea.

China and Korea are among the most important automobile markets in the world, and have numerous local successful and competitive equipment suppliers. Morocco’s positioning as automotive industrial base represents an interesting opportunity for these suppliers in their international expansion strategy.

The partnership between AMDI and SNECI is part of ambitious project in Morocco which establishes itself as a key destination for the automotive industry in this region to achieve a production capacity of 1 million vehicles by 2020 and a local integration rate of 65%.

This project will be conducted throughout the SNECI’s international network, combing the expertise of its MEA (Casablanca), China (Shanghai) and Korea (Seoul) subsidiaries. It will take place in several phases, from identification and analysis of industrial potentials which are ready to invest in Morocco to the preparation of a road show of AMDI in China and Korea.
