SNECI supported project of a French manufacturer in Germany

Our mission in Germany was to support a leading French equipment manufacturer in its collaboration with major German automakers. Here’s how we met this ambitious challenge.
Projects supported in Germany
In this mission, SNECI was involved in three major projects in Germany, each playing a crucial role in the design of vehicle interiors for major brands:
- Seat backrest for a premium brand of a major German automaker
- Center console for a premium brand of a second German manufacturer
- And seat backs for this second manufacturer.
SNECI’s role
As the interface between the French OEM and the German OEMs, SNECI ensured effective coordination between the different teams. Our support was provided in Germany, close to the OEMs, enabling optimal responsiveness and communication. Our responsibilities included:
- Project management: planning, monitoring and meeting deadlines.
- Quality: ensuring that parts produced meet the high quality standards of German OEMs.
- Communication: Facilitating exchanges between the French and German teams, ensuring mutual understanding and harmonious collaboration.

Meeting project milestones:
Every critical stage of the project was respected, from initial conception to final production. We ensured rigorous follow-up, avoiding delays and keeping the project on track.

The PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and SOP (Start Of Production) processes were successfully completed, with parts produced to meet the strict standards of German manufacturers. Quality tests and validations carried out on schedule, guaranteeing component reliability and conformity.
Contract renewal:
Thanks to our performance, the initial six-month contract has been renewed several times. The mission has now continued for a year and a half, testifying to our customer’s satisfaction and the confidence they place in us to manage their projects. We have proved to this equipment manufacturer our expertise in Germany.
