SNECI opens a new office in Turkey
With an already extended footprint worldwide, SNECI continues its expansion in 2020 by opening a new office in Turkey to support its customers locally.
Despite the difficult situation related to the COVID-19 health crisis, SNECI has reinforced its “Agility first” motto by responding to a request of a major OEM and creating a local Purchasing office in Turkey. The newborn team involves several sourcing experts, technical experts, and supplier development engineers.
“We were able to create a local office and start working with the complete team in less than two months after the reception of the first request,” according to Stanislas Bailly, Managing Director of SNECI.
Today, we manage two main activities in Turkey:
- We support carmakers that are looking to extend their sourcing from the region for both OE (Original Equipment) and aftermarket businesses. This activity covers identifying new suppliers, assessing them, sending them Request For Information (RFI) and Request For Quotation (RFQ), and assessing their technical and economical answers.
- We support car part suppliers to improve their industrial performance in Quality, Project Management, and Supply Chain.
Our team of ten experts in sourcing, quality, and supplier development is rapidly growing in response to increasing demand. All our collaborators have a long-term experience and an excellent track record with carmakers or suppliers in the region.
With the recent devaluation of the Turkish Lira, Turkey has proven to be one of the most competitive countries in the world. Hence, we see more and more companies both within and outside of the automotive industry that show interest in the region to either find suppliers or establish an industrial plant.
